Driving to work on a rainy spring day.

I love a good rainy spring day. What makes it special, is the effect that the weather has on the colors of the surrounding environment. Today I drove past a tree with the vestiges of red and orange fall leaves still hanging on its branches. It was in front of a pool of water and the reflections off that pool were simply inspiring. Oh to have my camera with me and the day off to take home that image and translate it to cnvas.

Thankfully - there should be many more rainy wet days ahead of us and the opportunity to get this on canvas. That being said, I would like to introduce one of my favorite pieces "Fade Into Light" which is available online at Fine Art America.
